Hi friends! It’s been a while since we posted!

This has been for multiple reasons, one being that we’ve been going through some big mental health shifts. And as any of you who have done deep mental health work before would know, things get worse before they get better. But we are safe and cared for and getting very good treatment that’s enabling our progress.

The other reason we haven’t posted is we’ve been working on a big new project, our new website KellaHannaWayne.com!

Kella Hanna-Wayne & Co

After we started creating digital art and selling it through multiple print-on-demand platforms, there were more and more creative projects that we were workingKella Hanna-Wayne & Co's logo: An abstract line drawing of a circle of people with joined arms surrounding text. Kella Hanna-Wayne is in a serif font in two lines and below & Co is in a cursive font. The entire logo is dark blue on periwinkle background. on that simply didn’t fit under the Yopp umbrella. Sure, we can sell social-justice themed designs here, but what do adorable otters holding hands or a floral pattern on a pillow have to do with civil rights?  Similarly, we struggled with where to send people with our central links on social media. Linking to our book meant less promotion for our Etsy store or to Yopp. We wanted a way to consolidate our creations.

And since our DID diagnosis in 2020, we also wanted to more formally recognize the fact that our work is created by all of us. It’s easier for marketing and for the sake of using existing institutional systems for us to advertise primarily under one name: Kella Hanna-Wayne. But the truth is there is an entire team of folks within our system that are responsible for our wide range of creative work. Our overarching brand Kella Hanna-Wayne & Co was created to celebrate that fact!

On our new website, you will find links and info for ALL our current and ongoing creative projects, including: Writing, books, digital art, activism, gluten-free recipes, Youtube, DJing, and music performance. You can browse all the products we have currently available with our original designs, across multiple POD platforms, use the search bar or filter system to explore different categories of designs, and even put in a request for what product you’d like to see them on next!

We are also rolling out our new “Project Library” which is basically a replica of our instagram feed except the photo or graphic that you saw on instagram now includes a link directly to the article, product, recipe, or other site that the instagram post referenced. The gallery of now-linked photos also includes a filter system so you can easily find an article that was published in 2018 with just a few clicks.

The blog section on KellaHannaWayne.com will offer updates about our latest or even upcoming creations and if you want to keep really up-to-date with what we’re working on, sign up for our email list and you’ll get newsletters once every 1-2 months highlighting our newest stuff.

New “Together We Survived” Colors

Since we opened our Etsy store in June, by far our most popular design has been our plural pride “Together We Survived” design. To celebrate the launch of our website, we’ve created four new versions of this design in the colors of our website, as well as one in simple black and white. These designs have been released on our indoor/outdoor vinyl stickers (in 4 sizes) and our T-shirts which run from size S-5XL.

Take a look around our new website and see if there’s anything that catches your interest!

At Yopp we're dedicated to providing educational material for social justice that emphasizes the individual experience of lived oppression and helps you understand the whole picture instead of memorizing do's & don'ts.
